Gorgons are creatures of Greek mythology portrayed in ancient literature. Most commonly the term refers to three sisters with hair made of living snakes, and whose faces were described as grimaced or ugly. “Do not all deserve to be considered fairly and openly so that we can discover the beauty in them?” Latisha Nicholson, Lisa Maria Lohmann and Daniel Weigel came together to reinterpret the portrayal of the Gorgon sisters, and to contradict the storyline of horror and death with beauty and serenity.
