EDITORIAL: Richie Roman and Roneil Chavez transform strokes of neon dye on hair into a series of bold, abstract images
Hairstylist Richie Roman and photographer Roneil Chavez capture the feeling that comes over a hairstylist when beginning a neon colour application on pre-lightened hair. The excitement and nervousness that comes from the first stroke of applying neon dye to hair that has been lifted to level 10. The shapes that the hair takes are transformed into beautiful, abstract sculptures.
