“Homo Amphibious is about slow-moving hair as if it is underwater. The story touches the shadows within and helps us recognise that we all have a deeper side to our personalities that we may find scary but oddly beautiful. Only in the darkness can you see the stars. Everyone is like an ocean with dark depth, yet we never show it to anyone. We pretend we have it together, that everything is perfect. The darkness within keeps us from unveiling our innermost selves. We are all performing, all the time. The secret is to remain perfectly imperfect, and that becomes beauty. When you get to see something so beautiful, time stops. You get lost in the moment, which opens us to a world of more meaningful connections.”
