EDITORIAL: Creative duo BJÜFF teamed up with CUT CUT CUT salon to create unsettling hair visuals inspired by our distorted online reality
“The pandemic forced us to reconsider our approach to all our communications – at work, with friends, even with our beloved grandmother. After a few months of practice, distant communication no longer feels like something wrong, it is a new norm.
We endlessly are on Zoom calls, use FaceTime, phone other cities and time zones. Time stretches not only physically but also technically: breaking the connection, distorting the picture, deforming the sound.
Inspired by this phenomenon we tried to formulate it in a separate art form. Here’s what we got.”
